POSITIVE REWARD BASED DOG TRAINING IN KENT

Building Calm, Confident Connections Between Dogs and Owners — With Programmes That Stick, Not Quick Fixes.

About Me
Hi, I’m Lauren!
I’m a Kent-based dog trainer who’s all about making life with your dog calmer, happier, and more enjoyable. For 10 years now, I’ve been helping families tackle everything from puppy basics to tricky behaviours — always with positive, reward-based methods.

I’m a qualified member of The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and continue to grow my knowledge through ongoing professional development. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, which means I can offer practical, real-world solutions that really work — not just theory.

With my own dogs, Dot and Phil, as inspiration, I focus on understanding each dog’s needs, building confidence, and keeping training realistic and enjoyable. Think of me as your guide, cheerleader, and problem-solver — here to make sure you and your dog actually enjoy the journey together.
I offer more than just training; I offer a pathway to a happier life with your dog
Initial Assessment Consultation | £165
This session will give us the chance to take a closer look at your dog’s history, routine, and environment, and to explore the challenges you’re experiencing. We’ll discuss what’s been tried so far, how your dog responds in different situations, and any patterns or triggers that might be affecting their behaviour. I’ll offer practical guidance and ideas to get started, and together we can plan the next steps so you have the support you need for lasting progress.
Ongoing support options
After the initial assessment, I'll recommend the most appropriate steps for you and your dog, including the ways I can support you going forward if needed.
I offer:

1 Month Support — £395
3 Month Support — £995

These options build on the guidance from the initial session and allow us to work together over a longer period to support steady, lasting progress. After your consultation, we can decide together which option feels right for you and your dog.
A full explanation of these support options will be provided during your assessment.
How I Work

Personal Support, Tailored to You

Every dog and every household is different, so we start by understanding what’s really going on and what you want life with your dog to feel like. From there, we build a plan that works for both of you.

Practical Help in Real-Life Situations

Whether we’re meeting in person or chatting on Zoom, I’ll guide you through simple, realistic steps you can use every day. No pressure, no judgement — just clear support and skills that make sense.

A Whole-Dog, Whole-Life Approach

I look at the bigger picture: your dog’s emotions, routine, environment, stress levels, and overall wellbeing. We’ll also consider things like pain, diet, or any physical factors that might be affecting behaviour — and I’ll refer you to the right professionals if needed. Real change happens when we support the whole dog, not just the behaviour in front of us.

You Need to Be Ready, Too

For our work to really make a difference, you need to be ready to commit, show up, and prioritise your dog and their training. I’ll support you every step of the way — but it’s a team effort, and your consistency is what brings the magic.

I’m With You Between Sessions, Too

You’ll have WhatsApp support throughout your programme, so you can ask questions, get feedback, and celebrate the wins as they happen. You’re never doing this alone.

If you’re reading this and thinking “yes, this feels right for us,” then amazing — you’re in the right place. Contact me for a chat to see if I'm the right trainer for you and your dog and book in if you're ready.

What Pet Owners Say
"Happy, Calm dog"
"Understanding
& Patient"
"Completely
different dog"
"I Just wanted to say how much progress has been made with Olive. We are sitting in a busy pub garden and Olive is being an angel. We've kept up your advice and it's paid off. I often think of the stress and tension of taking her out and having you to guide us to this happy, calm dog. Thank you.
"We had some sessions to help introduce Benson to our grandson, we worked on calm introductions. We love working with Lauren she is understanding and patient."
Lauren has helped us massively with our Romanian rescue. He was reactive towards other dogs when on the lead outside and very nervous and barky with visitors. Axel's now a completely different dog inside the house and so relaxed, we can even have people over! Lauren was so friendly and open. I cant recommend Lauren enough, and well worth it.
